i am having hardcore writers block trying to write something, ironically, "hardcore', or "hardstyle"....i could throw things in a fit of techno induced rage....

Try playing around with a guitar. If you don't have one, just listen to some classical music or actually look at sheet music. Sometimes I like to mess around with beethoven or bach counterpoints, add a variation, and then I get a cool lick.
Probably doesn't fit your genre, but hey, it's just a suggestion.
hey im all for genre mixing!!! thanks for the suggestion..i actually took a months worth of guitar lessons haha...power chords ftw! i have a nice keyboard...maybe i'll mess around piano-wise to see what i come up with! thanks for the idea!

If your struggling with them genres yous shouldn't even attempt them, they're the kind of styles that you need to know where your going for it to work.
I'd suggest Jump-style instead, or Hard House.
