i LOVED the first 40 secs! the beat is just enough...nice job on that! i didn't like the "farting" sounds that were here and there, the one at 1:03 is what i'm talking about. would have liked it without it. i loved the simple melody line! good luck in the contest!

i really like this! the lyrics are drop dead for me amazing! the only things that threw me were the robotic voice....to me, a real voice with a metallic effect over it would be much more effective. and some of the synths were a little treble happy for me. i think it needs more on the bottom.
i like though, good job! i downloadededed its:D

omg...i love the guitar part! i'm not a huge fan of all the reverb on the vocals.the lyrics rock!the song needs something else...almost a light bell...it needs a little sum-sum lol. the beginning is gorgeous! a female voice probably isn't what you are looking for for this song but if you change your mind, i can harmonize:D i have a tenor range, so maybe i wouldn't sound too girly lol. well done! i downloaded it:D

i <3 the synths

i really wish the drums were a little heavier and more pronounced.....they seem a tad week. and with the bells at 2:22, it was quite distorted for me, but the synth that took over after that mark, not melody synth, but the other one..i loved it. the bells were very distorted for me. but great jobs with the synths bringing the song up and down.

man, that sucks....i agree, not much to back up giving you half a score lol. i'm really digging this..i really love the instrumentation...i wish it had a deeper bass....or just a little louder...i think if you really were on top of the drums...some heavier kicks....that would take this song to a whole new level! i'm really hearing prodigy in this...this song is pretty badass...would be almost cinematic with some drums!!! please work on it!!!! this song has so much potential, i hate to see it just sit as is!! i'm jealous!!!

is this you playing? there is some white noise it seems almost in the background...like a muddy recording...i wish there was a way to get a more clear sound...if it is you actually playing...my goodness gracious! good for you! you have a solid grasp of the ups, downs, and variations of composing music.....i hope you give serious thought to composing more....even as a career path :) i almost get a sense of running through the forest under a full moon...2:52 ish almost sounds a tad clair de lune to me....very cool! GREAT job on dynamics.....the song was not repetitive whatsoever but still all flowed well....that effect is hard to create.....you have to have talent to pull that off...well done! i almost wish a tad more was done with the left hand...the constant octaves were boring....and in parts i would have taken them down an octave..to really achieve that full, encompassed sound.....and brought them back up to the octave you were using for the lighter parts....well done:D

A bit muddy? That might be because I used a different file converter to get this to be an MP3.

And no, it is not me playing, although I would love to be able to play this song so badly. It is actually a Finale audio of the song using GPO sounds.

Also, if you could tell me which parts the octave work could use help on, that would be great!!!

so you made this in 3 minutes, but it's 5 minutes long...therefore....you did not listen to it before submitting it??? if you had, you would see that it's not a techno song....lol.

actually the guitar part is quite cool. if you actually spent some time on it you could make a decent song out of it...but the crap at teh 2 minute mark does not go, and neither does the organ part at the end...at 2:20 ish it's cool.....the synths go well with the guitar....

if some effort was ACTUALLY SPENT on it, it might be a cool song. maybe take another look at it instead of just throwing something together without listening to it all the way through.

it was my thing! lol. but the drums are phenomenal! the rise and fal of the music really captures the attention of the listener. i can't wait to hear lyrics with this!!! nice work!

omg

i loved the intro!! loved loved lovededed it. the song had the potential to be really powerful, but it sounded just a tad empty. i would try some really good filler synths....it needs a constant underlying sound to really drive it. this song really does have AMAZING potential!!!! nice work!

i liked it!...

overall nice work! i just wish there would have been more ups and downs throughout the whole piece. it seemed frantic the whole song....there was no place you could build it up, it was already so intense. the drums seemed a tad loud but i liked the synths a ton.

Thanks, yeah I have to change the volume of the precussion, they are very overpowering. I usually posy my "Beta" songs on NG before I actually fine-tune it, which is most likely why they get such aweful ratings.
